Course description

Polish aviation market still shows great growth potential, one of the largest in Europe. Constantly growing volume of air traffic generates the need to employ suitably qualified employees, also in the civil aviation administration. In order to meet the expectations of the labor market, the Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University launched a specialization in administration - air traffic administration.

The Institute of Air Transport (ILT) has been very active at the Lazarski University since 2014. It is a scientific research center dealing with the processes of air transport development in Poland and in the world, which already today can pride itself with achieving the position of one of the best institutes in terms of content. ILT cooperates with national, European and global organizations and institutions. The IATA Accredited Training Center operates within its framework.

Implementation of the specialization program in cooperation with the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency guarantees that education is carried out at the highest world level.

As a student of administration:

  • you will gain knowledge and practical skills preparing you to work in national, European and global civil aviation administrations;
  • you will learn about the structure and organization of civil aviation, its financing and the rules of conducting aviation activities, as well as the legal regulations concerning air navigation, with particular emphasis on air traffic safety;
  • you will be prepared to continue education at the level of second-cycle studies and post-graduate studies;
  • you will acquire the basic knowledge necessary to run your own business.

  • in the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Commission for Aircraft Accident Investigation, the Council for the Protection and Facilitation of Civil Aviation, the Civil Aviation Office, etc .;

  • in companies related to the operation of airports;
  • in air navigation service providers;
