Major description
In digital economy, traditional finance is losing steam - technological advances are changing the nature and shape of the financial industry. Just as business is changing under the influence of e-commerce and online marketing, so are new financial technologies affecting the various elements of financial management. Since its inception, financial technology (Fintech) has been considered a breakthrough in the financial industry to prepare for. The rapid adoption of Fintech by financial institutions and other industries makes the implantation of new financial technologies inevitable.
The "financial technologies" major aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of finance in the digital age and develop their skills to be able to meet the challenges in the financial world around them. Decentralized finance, P2P lending, crowdfunding, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology or various modern models for analyzing financial data are just some of the topics that will be covered during the course of study. Graduates will be able to understand modern banking, financial systems and advanced technological applications of finance - both in terms of the external environment and financial management within an organization.
As a student of Decentralised Technologies and AI:
