The use of a wide range of institutionalized control activities is associated with the need to learn about the mechanisms governing accounting and tax law. 'Financial control and audit' is a specialty for those who want to obtain comprehensive knowledge in the field of financial audit, supplemented by the ability to keep computer accounting. The specialization will prepare students to analyze the property and financial situation of business entities, using techniques that allow to clearly distinguish reliable information from those created for the purposes of distorting financial statements. Studies in the proposed specialization will provide a solid basis for starting work in the group of professions related to accounting, i.e. accountants, statutory auditors, financial advisers, but also those that use accounting information in the processes of financial and operational management of the company. If your goal is to run your own business, the specialization will help you understand the legal regulations in the field of accounting and tax records, necessary to assess the risk of the functioning of a business entity.

If you choose 'Financial control and audit' specialization:

  • you will gain comprehensive knowledge of accounting, with particular focus on medium and small-sized entities,
  • you will learn how to keep accounting books, prepare financial statements and other reporting, including tax reporting,
  • you will learn how to conduct internal audits,
  • you will learn the most important aspects of financial auditing and broadly understood consulting.

Graduates of Lazarski University's undergraduate (BA) and postgraduate (MA) programmes are exempt from the enrollment fee.

The enrollment fee is non-refundable. It is refunded in full in the event of failure to start a course of study.
