The logistics industry has been developing very dynamically in recent years. Logistics is the basis for the functioning of every enterprise and the economy of every country. For this reason, well-educated logisticians are and will be in demand on the Polish and global labor market. The distinguishing features of the logistics specialization offered by the Lazarski University are:
- specialization program built in cooperation with practitioners from the logistics industry,
- interactive nature of the classes, conducted with the help of case studies and simulations.
- classes conducted with the participation of practitioners,
- the program is adapted to the contemporary realities of the industry.
Employment prospects
Logistics is the art of effective management of the company's capabilities and resources.
People with knowledge in the field of logistics can find employment not only in logistics, forwarding and transport companies, but also in all production and service companies in which procurement and distribution processes take place. Logistics offers a number of employment opportunities at the operational to managerial levels. The ability to organize events will prove useful in the activities of any company.
Practical nature of studies
Specialization was developed with the participation of the Center for Logistics and Innovation of the Lazarski University and practitioners from the logistics industry.
Contact with the practice is two-way: classes are conducted by experienced academics who have contact with the logistics practice, and by practitioners - the so-called "Internship within the walls of the University."

Modern trends in logistics and supply chain management
Currently, the leading trends in supply chain management include: digitization and the pro-ecological trend (i.e. building green and circular supply chains).
From the classes you will learn:
- on what factors does the supply chain strategy depend and what it consists of,
- whether and to what extent logistics can be innovative,
- what is the digitization of the supply chain,
- what are the key digital technologies used in the supply chain, how do they affect its functioning, what are their benefits and threats,
- how companies create digital business models,
- what is a green and circular supply chain,
- what solutions are used in circular and green supply chains.
Supply in logistics and supply chain
Purchasing and purchasing significantly contribute to the success of supply chains. From the classes you will learn:
- what is the role of purchasing in the company,
- which affects the choice of sources of supply,
- how to manage relationships with suppliers,
- how to manage contracts,
- what are the models of purchasing organizations,
- what is category management,
- how to manage risk.
Logistics of organizing events (Event logistics)
Event Logistics is a constantly developing area of logistics activities. The revenues of this market are growing every year, especially from organizing on-line events. As part of the subject:
- you will get to know the main entities operating on the event logistics market,
- you will understand how stationary and online events work and choose the right platforms and tools for your project,
- you will receive the most important information on multimedia, organization of supply and transport and ensuring security, as well as other logistics aspects of the organization of the event,
- you will learn how to select and evaluate cooperators and how the cooperation between you should proceed,
- you will gain knowledge that inspires you to organize events for your own needs,
- you will get to know examples of interesting projects, both Polish and foreign.
Project management in the supply chain
In the era of growing global competition, it is important for organizations to search for such operating conditions that will create opportunities for them to improve their competitive position. One of these aspects is the management of projects in the supply chain and the resulting design approach that meets the requirements of customer orientation and expectations.
As part of the course, the student will gain knowledge on how to create stakeholder matrices and manage them as part of projects in the supply chain. In addition, they will learn the rules applicable at all stages of the project, from identification, through planning, execution, monitoring, to project evaluation. He will also be able to choose adequate project management methodologies to the specificity of projects in the supply chain.
Eurologistics
The logistic market of the European Union is important from the perspective of the world and Poland. It also has its own specificity. From the course you will learn:
- what is the specificity of the functioning of international logistics in the European Union,
- what are the logistic concepts of managing the flow of goods in the conditions of the internal EU market, based on the free movement of people, capital, goods and services,
- how the EU Common Transport Policy affects the functioning of the TSL market,
- you will learn the characteristics of the European Union's foreign trade logistics services and the role of Poland in European logistics.

Graduates of Lazarski University's undergraduate (BA) and postgraduate (MA) programmes are exempt from the enrollment fee.
